Moroccan artist, musician and interior designer from Casablanca, Meryem Aboulouafa was born in 1988. Since her childhood, she has loved the rhythm of the music of the 60s and French songs, having been introduced to music by her father, who introduced her to the music of his time: George Bressens, Jaques Brel, Edith Piaf, The Beatles, Scorpions, Pink Floyd, and others. Drawn by the musical universe, she first became interested in classical music and attended the Conservatory of Paris in Casablanca where she spent two years studying classical dance and exploring music in her steps. After 8 years at the conservatory, studying dramatic arts, violin, guitar, and harmonica, she graduated in 2007 and enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in Casablanca. In 2008, Meryam debuted her first musical intervention at the Casablanca festival, with a song and video entitled "Smile" inspired by smiling in the city of Casablanca, and the film was projected on the facade of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. In 2011, she graduated as an interior designer. Since, she has participated in many cultural events throughout France, Turkey and Morocco and launched a brand of furniture and artistic creations called "Introspectus."
